Online scams and cyber-enabled fraud have evolved into a systemic transnational threat affecting citizens, economies, digital trust and regional stability across Europe and Southeast Asia. Scam ecosystems increasingly combine cybercrime, organised crime, human trafficking, coercion, money laundering, mule accounts, misuse of online platforms and AI-enabled social engineering.

The panel discussion will bring together senior officials and practitioners from the European Union (EU) and its Member States, Singapore, and other partners, as well as Europol and INTERPOL. It aims to identify concrete areas for police and justice cooperation, cross-border evidence, financial disruption, and practitioner exchanges, while ensuring complementarity with other like-minded initiatives.
