Biography

Lea Wedekind is a cybercrime specialist currently working at Europol as Specialist Policy and Development. She previously served as a Seconded National Expert at the European Cybercrime Centre (EC3), focusing on operational cooperation, strategic planning, private-sector engagement and prevention. She has also held senior roles at the German Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA), including Acting Team Leader for OSINT Investigation Support and Policy Advisor on international cooperation, EU legislation, data protection and operational investigation matters.
