Biography

Benjamin Ang leads the Centre of Excellence for National Security (CENS) and Future Issues and Technology (FIT), which are research centres at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) in Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore that focus on cyber power, cyber conflict and diplomacy, disinformation, foreign interference (FIMI), hybrid threats, and policy and security issues from emerging technologies (e.g. artificial intelligence, space, quantum). He writes and speaks at cyber conferences and roundtables internationally, participated as a stakeholder in the UN OEWG 2021 – 2025, and often speaks at the UN-Singapore Cyber Fellowship and other cyber capacity building workshops by the ASEAN Singapore Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence (ASCCE), ADMM Cybersecurity and Information Centre of Excellence (ACICE), and ASEAN-Japan Cybersecurity Capacity Building Centre (AJCCBC).
