Biography

Mr Thomas Rosteck is Chief Security Advisor at Infineon Technologies AG and combines executive leadership in the semiconductor industry with extensive experience in cybersecurity, digital trust and security policy. He is responsible for Infineon’s security strategy, regulatory engagement and the coordination of key cybersecurity frameworks, while representing the company towards governments, regulators and industry organizations worldwide.

Before assuming his current role, Thomas served for eight years as Division President and CEO of Infineon’s Connected Secure Systems division, one of the world’s leading providers of semiconductor-based security solutions. Throughout his career at Infineon, he has held numerous executive positions across secure identification, payment, embedded security and digital trust technologies.

Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Thomas contributes to the development of cybersecurity policy and standards through several international advisory and board mandates, including the European Commission’s Stakeholder Cybersecurity Certification Group, Charter of Trust, Bitkom and Fraunhofer AISEC. He combines more than 25 years of leadership experience in the security industry with a strong background in technology, business strategy and public policy.
