Biography

Mr Kevin Reifsteck is a Director for Cybersecurity Policy at Microsoft, where he focuses on quantum safety and critical infrastructure protection. He leads global advocacy efforts urging governments to accelerate the transition to Quantum-Safe cryptography and advises Microsoft’s Quantum Safe Program on how evolving public policy impacts the company’s approach. Prior to joining Microsoft, Kevin served as Director for Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity at the National Security Council (NSC), where he provided strategic guidance on cybersecurity policy and contributed to the development of the National Cyber Strategy. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
