Biography

Allan S. Cabanlong, ASEAN Eng., is the ASEAN Regional Director for the Regional Cyber Advisors Program at CyberCX, where he supports cybersecurity capacity building, digital resilience, and regional cooperation across Southeast Asia. He previously served as the Regional Director for Southeast Asia of the Global Forum on Cyber Expertise (GFCE); Assistant Secretary for Cybersecurity and Enabling Technologies of the Department of Information and Communications Technology of the Philippines; and founding Undersecretary/Executive Director of the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center. He has worked extensively with governments, industry, academia, and international partners on cybersecurity policy, cyber capacity building, workforce development, critical infrastructure protection, and regional cooperation. He has also contributed to ASEAN cybersecurity initiatives and continues to advocate for stronger public-private collaboration to develop the skilled workforce required for secure and trusted digital transformation.
