Biography

Agustinus Bruno Halle heads the Office for Digitalization and Cybersecurity at Timor-Leste’s Ministry of Transport and Communications, a role he assumed in August 2026. He oversees work on digital governance and cybersecurity coordination to support better public services.

With 20 years of experience in the land transport sector, he previously led the IT Unit at the National Directorate of Land Transport, working on transport information systems and digital driving licence verification. He has represented Timor-Leste in ASEAN and UNESCAP transport cooperation and contributed to the development of the country’s launched Public Transport Master Plan, funded by the Asian Development Bank.
