Biography

Ms Marie Therese Quieta heads the Systems Engineering Pillar of the Centre for Advanced Technologies in Online Safety (CATOS), which hosts Singapore’s Online Trust and Safety programme that is aimed at developing and translating innovative technologies for high-impact use cases. She leads the development and applications of key technologies that are being deployed for real-world innovations to enhance Singapore’s online safety.

She is a proficient Technical Project Manager bringing in 15 years of relevant industry experience in software engineering. She had taken on diverse roles encompassing the full software development lifecycle. Before joining A*STAR, she worked for large private enterprises, where she setup and managed software test teams and infrastructure. Therese holds a Masters in Engineering degree from the National University of Singapore (NUS), Electrical and Computer Engineering Department.
